Launch of the Mystery Blooms Club

Launch of the Mystery Blooms Club

Introducing: The Mystery Blooms Club
The new flower subscription service from WilderBlooms. Providing the best of what is available in the UK all year round

Have a quick look over the graphics below and then let me give you the finer details.

What is it:

  • A customisable flower subscription service that provides only 100% British grown flowers, year round,  in biodegradable packaging.
  •  Choose frequency weekly, fortnightly or monthly
  • Choose a size of bouquet £28, £40, £60
  • Never have to remember to place your regular order again
  • A surprise bunch of sustainable British flowers that changes week to week.

What sets it apart from other flower subscriptions?

  • No imports ever. I am unaware of any other flower subscription service in the UK that doesn’t import a proportion of its flowers, particularly over the winter months. Importing flowers comes with a high carbon footprint that can be easily bypassed by shopping for British grown flowers.
  • Biodegradable packing – no plastics here
  • It’s a mystery – you’re never going to see a photo of the weeks bunches before they ship, but I can guarantee your in for a fantastically wild surprise each time.
  • Wild, colourful, and interesting varieties of flowers grown by small artisan growers

What are the perks?

  • FREE DELIVERY on every single subscription order (saving you a £5.99 delivery fee each time)
  • 10% off any other one off purchases you make on www.wilderblooms.co.uk (nb: delivery charge will apply to one off orders)
  • FREE VASE (to the first 10 members)
  • 5% off your membership after 6 bunches of flowers, or 10% off after 12 bunches of flowers (on top of your free delivery!)

Small Print:

  • Membership is set at a minimum of 2 deliveries, you may cancel anytime after the second delivery. (as a micro business and not a massive company, I cannot afford for anyone to subscribe to get free delivery then immediately cancel – im not saying you would do it, but some people would- I think two deliveries minimum is fair)
  •          Weekly – delivered every Thursday (your first payment will be taken upon your initial order, all following payments are taken on the Wednesday before your delivery is due)
  •         Fortnightly – delivery every 2 weeks from the start of your membership (your first payment will be taken upon your initial order, all following payments are taken on the Wednesday before your delivery is due Wednesday)
  •        Monthly – Delivered on the next Thursday after your subscription starts, orders placed on a Wednesday miss the cut off for that week, will be fulfilled the following week. Subscription will continue every 4 weeks after your initial delivery. (your first payment will be taken upon your initial order, all following payments are taken on the 1st of the Month)

Changes to my Business Model:

Not much really - Long standing customers will be aware that WilderBlooms has only really offered “florist’s choice bouquets” since inception. A bunch of mystery blooms is essentially a florists choice bouquet – just a snazzy rebranding to add some intrigue. So realistically, not much is changing for the business other than I am adding subscriptions to the mix

Why Subscriptions?
It is something I have been planning since the beginning, and with the expansion of the business in the last year it really does make sense for me. I don’t have a brick and mortar store, and working online only comes with its own unique set of challenges when it comes to supply and demand.

A subscription model allows me to prioritise, and make sure I always have flowers available for my returning customers. The ones who want flowers delivered on a regular basis. Instead of having to guess whether this week is going to busy or slow, I have a bit more of an idea in advance of who wants flowers. This will massively help me reduce waste, it also financially helps the business by ensuring I don’t buy more flowers from growers than I need each week, meaning I have more funds to reinvest into WilderBlooms and continue making my services better for my customers, instead spending money on flowers that don’t sell and end up being composted because I had an unpredicted slow week.

How does this benefit you?
If you order flowers regularly, then you will find that the subscription model can be a great way of saving time and money on your end.

You don’t have to remember to sit down and place an order, going through all the faff with finding products and typing in your card details each time. You order once and then that’s you sorted until you cancel it.

The subscription is very flexible, with the customer portal allowing you to pause orders, skip orders and change budget or frequency easily. So if it turns out weekly is too often, then you can easily change to fortnightly. Youre on holiday? just skip this bunch and you won’t be charged

FREE DELIVERY – that’s £5.99 your saving each time you order instead of buying individual bunches

On top of that you also get:
- 10% off any other one off purchases you make on www.wilderblooms.co.uk (nb: delivery charge will apply to one off orders)

-          FREE VASE (to the first 10 members)

-          5% off your membership after 6 bunches of flowers, or 10% off after 12 bunches of flowers ( on top of your free delivery!

Can I still order a one off bunch of flowers as a gift?
Absolutely, these are still available as they always were. “florist choice” is rebranding as “mystery bunch of blooms”. But it’s the same as it’s always been, a wild and wonderful surprise.

One off deliveries will be continued to be delivered on a Friday

Im very excited about this next step in the WilderBlooms Journey. If you have any questions please email them to hello@wilderblooms.co.uk and I will get back to you as soon as I can
